Watch Star Wars Rebels S02E14 1
Some time later, after a Star Destroyer flew over Capital City, Ezra traveled there on his speeder and witnessed three rebels, consisting of Kanan Jarrus, Zeb Orrelios, and Sabine Wren, attack a group of Imperials in an attempt to steal several speeders carrying crates. He stood back and watched as the Rebels took out the Troopers, then in the ensuing chaos of the battle dropped from the rooftops to commandeer one of the speeders and fled with some of their stolen goods. The Rebels chased him through the streets to the road that led out of the city as he attempted to evade his pursuers. As Ezra fled the city an Imperial TIE Fighter joined the chase destroying the speeder he was riding. Before it could finish him, the Fighter was destroyed by the rebel's ship, the Ghost, which was the same VXC he saw being chased by Rudor months before. The Rebels helped him aboard and made a run for it with four more TIE Fighters after them.

When Kanan and Rex awoke, Ezra attempted to claim that they were knocked out in a massive fire fight, but Chopper played a holographic recording of what really happened. While Kanan was outraged that his apprentice had shot him, Rex laughed it off. The two got into an argument about how to proceed with their rescue mission, Ezra left to accompany Chopper on his mission to sabotage the Interdictor's gravity well projectors. Since the reactor core was manned by Imperial technicians, Chopper instructed Ezra to distract them while the droid accessed one of the terminals and turned off the gravity, thus preventing the technicians from firing on Ezra. With the handy work done, Chopper switched back the gravity causing he technicians to plummet while Ezra managed to grab a platform. Together, the two rejoined Kanan, Sato, and the other crew. While Kanan went back to rescue Rex, Ezra, Chopper, and the other rebels returned to Sato's corvette and took off under Kanan's instructions through the comlink. With Kanan and Rex safely boarding the corvette in an escape pod, the rebels prepared to jump into hyperspace but Titus had the remaining gravity well projectors activated on them. However, due to Chopper's sabotaging, the well projectors malfunctioned; causing two nearby Imperial light cruisers to collide with the warship, destroying them. Ezra and the rebels avoided the ensuing explosion and fled into hyperspace. When Chopper pointed out that he was the big hero of the mission, Ezra mollified the astromech droid by telling him it was a team effort as well. When Commander Sato thanked Kanan, Rex, and Ezra for saving him and his crew, Ezra complimented Kanan and Rex's teamwork.
They returned to Ryder's hideout only to find a group of Stormtroopers arresting Ryder and Chopper, so Ezra and Kanan, still in their Stormtrooper disguises, offered to take them back to prison. However, the troopers were given orders to execute Ryder, but before matters got worse the Ghost showed up flew out of nowhere and a brief skirmish broke out. In order to get to the Ghost without raising suspicion, Ezra helped Ryder fake Leia's abduction and asked Zeb "knock out" him and Kanan and take them "prisoner" aboard the ship. This development startled the Imperials, who wondered when the rebels began to take prisoners. While reviewing the nature of the situation, neither Ezra nor his fellow Ghost crew saw any chance of success except getting one of the ships instead of all three. Leia, however, motivated the crew by saying how they could get them, and a plan to get all three ships began to form. To Ezra's delight, Ryder joined in, saying that explosives would not be able to disable the gravity locks and offered his help in exchange for getting off of Lothal. Dropping down from the Phantom with Leia in tow, Ezra and Kanan took on Lyste and his men while the other rebels unlocked two of the secured ships and took off in them, knocking the supply master out cold. However, the AT-ATs proved resistant to the Ghost's armament, so Ezra was asked by his master to secure the third corvette for Ryder while he dealt the walkers. Then, while taking off in the second corvette with Sabine and Chopper, the boy bade farewell to Leia and was directed to stun her with his lightsaber blaster to avoid suspicion. Sure enough, he did so just as Lyste and the others regain their senses, prompting the Imperials to see if she was all right. Escaping into hyperspace and back to the rebel fleet, the Ghost crew were pleased that they managed to get all three ships, and Ryder, now realizing that what Ezra's parents started had become even larger then he thought, agreed to join the rebellion for their son's sake.
Unfortunately, the crew were forced to bring the Ghost out of hyperspace due to an imploded star cluster that's gravity field could destroy any approaching ship, which Chava recognized as the "maze to Lirasan", standing in their path. Then, Agent Kallus' light cruiser emerged behind them thanks to a captured Hondo's assistance with a tracker the pirate place on the communications device he gave Ezra. As Kallus gave them a minute to surrender or be attacked, Chava immediately stated that he was the warrior and advised that there are many children, warriors and fools, but in time Zeb would get the chance to become all three. Realizing it was his destiny to lead the way to Lirasan, Zeb used his bo-rifle to take control of the ship's controls and shepherd the Ghost through the maelstrom, with Ezra and Kanan using the Force to watch his back and keep the electric surge steady on the ship. Losing patience, Kallus sent two TIE fighters to pursue them, but they were ripped apart by the gravitational tide of the star cluster. So, the light cruiser opened fire on the Ghost and each blast kept missing the ship, and thus the Ghost miraculously jumped into hyperspace through the star cluster, knocking Ezra and his fellow crewmates out due to its bright blast. Upon awaking, the Ghost crew found themselves in unknown space but sighted Lirasan in the horizon and Zeb left on the Phantom to drop Gron and Chava there. After hours of waiting, Ezra began to loose patience until the Lasat finally returned, having discovered that the planet was the original Lasat homeworld and that it was already home to millions of Lasat. While Chava and Gron elected to stay behind on their new home, Zeb decided to return to the Ghost resolving to bring more Lasat to Lirasan as he, Ezra, and their rebel companions departed via a safe route that Hera had plotted through the star cluster.
While the rest of the crew were heading to their cabins to ensure everything was switched off to save every little bit of fuel, Hera confided with Ezra about her prejudices towards the Purrgil in private. When she was young, she was told about amazing stories of creatures living in the stars, and some folks said that is the Purrgil that inspired them to jump into hyperspace from system to system. But Hera didn't believe them; Purrgil endangered hyperspace travel by colliding into starships. She had lost more than one friend that way. In response, Ezra suggested that Purrgil were ignorant of the damage they were causing. Shortly later, the Ghost arrived at an asteroid overlooking the gas refinery and parked near it, and Ezra attended the briefing where Hera and Sabine outlined their plans to infiltrate the facility and steal the gas canisters. The rebels would also destroy the facility by using detonators to ignite the volatile Clouzon-36 gas around the refinery in order to deny it to the Empire. Ezra was too distracted by the Purrgil to concentrate on the briefing and attempted to tell Hera that the Purrgil were interested in the gas, but the captain told him to focus on his mission. While at the Ghost's gangplank, the boy asked how they were going to get down, prompting a reprimand from Sabine for not paying attention since they were jumping into a toxic atmosphere in the planetoid below. While Kanan, Sabine and Chopper managed to land on the bridge, Ezra miscalculated and almost fell into the gassy atmosphere below, but Kanan used the Force to pull up and reprimand his apprentice. Shortly later, Ezra and his fellow rebels were attacked by several Rodian Mining Guild guards. Under Kanan's orders, Sabine activated the detonators, but Ezra stopped her from throwing at the gas as they made their way across the bridge and used the Force to throw down a Rodian gunner. When confronted by his comrades, Ezra explained that the Purrgil were connected to the gas, so blowing it up would only hurt them. Changing their plans, Kanan ordered him to man the gun emplacement to cover him and Sabine while they secured the landing zone. During the ensuing skirmish, Ezra used his cannon to knock out one of the other gun and drive away the other guards, enabling Hera and Zeb to land the Ghost onto the landing platform. Unfortunately, a laser blast from the remaining guard hit the boy and sent him plummeting into the the gassy atmosphere.
When he awoke, he found himself unable to breathe and tried to reach for his helmet, but it toppled into the abyss below. However, a tentacle grabbed it and Ezra discovered that he had been rescued by the Purrgil King. Donning the helmet, Ezra stared into its eyelid and was able to make a Force connection with it, from which learned that the Purrgil depended on the Clouzon-36 gas to survive and to travel into hyperspace. Together with the Purrgil herd, Ezra came to his fellow rebels' rescue from the Mining Guild and their leader, Yushyn, covering them by using his lightsaber to destroy the TIE fighters while riding the Purrgil King. As the Ghost crew stole all the fuel canisters and destroyed the refinery, the teenage Jedi caught up with them and met with Kanan on the ship's roof after the king dropped him off and led its people in departing into hyperspace. Watching this in awe, the rebels departed in the same direction and back to the fleet, hoping if it meant following the Purrgil again. 041b061a72
