It is likely that the Russian company Novatek will resume its large-scale operations only in a few weeks or even months.

On 21 January, the company announced that some operations at the Baltic Sea fuel shipping terminal and the "technological process" at the complex were currently suspended. This decision was made as a result of a large-scale fire that broke out at the facility.

After the SBU attack, all the tankers that were near the terminal moved far out to sea. Their loading was disrupted.

The Russians are forced to move even more air defence systems from the front to protect the rear.

On the night of 21 January, two explosions occurred at the Novatek oil terminal in the Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region of Russia as a result of drone strikes.

Later it became known that the night attack on the marine terminal in Ust-Luga, Russia, on 21 January was a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine.
